With a little luck, Kingpins's Bixente Poli got control of the ball when Ton Meulman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene were furious when Pece Etoo was red carded, 90 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulf Kling couldn't finish the play. Both players had fought hard during the second half to keep the score at 1-1. The tie meant more entertainment for the crowd as the match moved into extra-time.

With new strength the players walked out on the field for the first half of overtime. Húmi Pomelin in Deportivo Pomelo Nenene was the one to initiate the kick off. Kingpins's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Pomelo Nenene the free kick. A collision led to Kingpins getting a freekick after 103 minutes play. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's attentive Ubaldo Bastian managed to snatch the ball when Harry Sjö made a throw-in in the 108th minute of the game. Húmi Pomelin struck a weak shot in the 111th minute. Bixente Poli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Pomelo Nenene. With the score at 1-1, the referee blew for the end of the half. The players got a few minutes to recover before they had to start the second half of extra-time.

The players still looked rather fresh even though it was time for second half of the overtime. Torbjörn Hake did a quick kick off. Harry Sjö could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 121st minute of the match, but Albino Maiorga made a huge save. When the match had been going on for 146 minutes, Kingpins's Ke Cheng Yun got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Albino Maiorga. Kingpins were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's much stronger midfield.
