Zigor Abeita hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Leopoldo Ladio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot by Mario Emmanuel from long distance, 17 minutes into the match, got Geronimo Rulli's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Geronimo Rulli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leopoldo Ladio in the 19th minute. Internacional's Geronimo Rulli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Internacional from getting a goal against them. Evaristo Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Orlando Chepe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orlando Chepe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laércio de Andrade in the 31st minute of the match. Mario Emmanuel in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Geronimo Rulli, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Internacional's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mario Emmanuel was slow to take the kick. During this time Hydra's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Hydra's Mario Emmanuel to fire away a dangerous shot which Geronimo Rulli despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Hydra's goal looked a bit too open when Ege Deniz came free, but Orlando Chepe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Ladio got free with Geronimo Rulli in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mario Emmanuel was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute of the match Hydra got a corner. Internacional's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mario Emmanuel ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Mario Emmanuel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Geronimo Rulli quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 65 minutes into the game, Evaristo Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Internacional's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hydra the free kick. In the 66th match minute, Internacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Costa to maneuver through the defense. Hydra's Laurin Roca was substituted for Leopoldo Ladio. Hydra's Domingos Taurino was substituted for David Beckham. In the 77th minute, Hydra's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Laércio de Andrade fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Camilo Caradaro took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geronimo Rulli. Geronimo Rulli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 88th minute Internacional were awarded a corner. Abdelbassir Abubakar went to the cornerflag to take it. Orlando Chepe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benet Rano in the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st match minute, Internacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Costa to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laurin Roca in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geronimo Rulli saved Internacional from getting behind. Geronimo Rulli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurin Roca in the 94th minute of the match. Internacional were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Hydra to leave the ground with a draw.
