After 22 minutes of play, FC Dundee's Hardi Lind made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Osman Şenel was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaido Jaas in the 27th minute of play forced Hai Duong's goalkeeper Osman Şenel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arno Luuk was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of FC Dundee booed when Hai Duong was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Đặng Hanh didn't get a good kick on the ball.
