The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alvise Castellazzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cain Velasquez in the 3rd minute of play. Alvise Castellazzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cain Velasquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cain Velasquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcus Vase took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Pardini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bennis were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Seggiano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lucas Ekrot took the corner. Alvise Castellazzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-Åke Hallgren's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Oliver Hardy kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Jan-Åke Hallgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvise Castellazzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute Bennis were awarded a corner. Lucas Ekrot went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Bennis's Lucas Ekrot to fire away a dangerous shot which Alvise Castellazzi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Marcus Vase made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Pardini in the 36th minute of play. After 39 minutes, Cain Velasquez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bennis and the Seggiano players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bennis's Cain Velasquez got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 43rd minute Augusto Pardini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Vase saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Vase showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Pardini in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augusto Pardini was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Seggiano getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Augusto Pardini hit a great ball. Seggiano's Alvise Castellazzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Seggiano from getting a goal against them. 60 minutes into the game, Oliver Hardy threw the ball into play from the sideline. Bennis's Per Lundkvist quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Marcus Vase showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Pardini, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 65 minutes Bennis's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Franco Fava who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Bennis's goalie and right to Dave Savini. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Bennis's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Bennis made a substitution. Anacleto Sedeni replaced Karl-Johan Hammarström. Bennis's Marcus Vase played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Pardini in the 69th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Augusto Pardini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcus Vase was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Jan-Åke Hallgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Alvise Castellazzi made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cain Velasquez in the 72nd minute of play forced Seggiano's goalkeeper Alvise Castellazzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Bennis's Alvise Castellazzi threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cain Velasquez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Seggiano's Bianco Masi got a free kick in the 84th minute. Alvise Castellazzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anacleto Sedeni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Seggiano getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Dennis Carosella hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bennis players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Seggiano.
