Telmo Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Abel having to interfere. Harald Lossmann made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Pål Askestät sent off a good shot on target. Harald Lossmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arthur Saba's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Victoriano Abel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hazım Taşboğa in the 15th minute of play. Hazım Taşboğa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the game, Pål Askestät cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Harald Lossmann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 24 minutes into the match, Ivaylo Yordanov notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Average Joes's Victoriano Abel. Victoriano Abel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Victoriano Abel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivaylo Yordanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Ganix Herrera threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Fura Balizas's Lourenço Nascimento quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, Average Joes's Filipp Krupatkih got a free kick in the 45th minute.

Average Joes's Martin Morat was substituted for Lukas Bäckman. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ivaylo Yordanov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ivaylo Yordanov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victoriano Abel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. FC Fura Balizas were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Average Joes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Homero Saraiva took the corner. The corner ended in Ivaylo Yordanov almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Average Joes's Victoriano Abel did a great save. Ivaylo Yordanov had several of the Average Joes's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 54 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Victoriano Abel as he didn't even see the shot coming. FC Fura Balizas were furious when Zeferino Corte-Real was red carded, 58 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 60th minute of the match Martin Morat sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Harald Lossmann skillfully saved the ball. In the 67th minute, Mattias Finnman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Average Joes's Mattias Finnman got a free kick in the 68th minute. Harald Lossmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pål Askestät, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Average Joes getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Martin Morat hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Durval Póvoas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victoriano Abel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durval Póvoas, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Average Joes's zone, Durval Póvoas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victoriano Abel came out of the goal and Durval Póvoas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Average Joes's Jeremias Silban was substituted for Per Rolandsson. 82 minutes into the match, FC Fura Balizas's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Silban came free, but Harald Lossmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute FC Fura Balizas were awarded a corner. Homero Saraiva went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Homero Saraiva almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Average Joes's Victoriano Abel did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yavuz Bülent Özger in the 87th minute of play forced FC Fura Balizas's goalkeeper Harald Lossmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute FC Fura Balizas were awarded a corner. Homero Saraiva went to the cornerflag to take it. FC Fura Balizas's Lourenço Nascimento was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Victoriano Abel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Average Joes's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hazım Taşboğa 90 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-3. Victoriano Abel was a little too slow when Durval Póvoas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 2-4. The Average Joes supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Fura Balizas's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Fura Balizas.
