Genílson de Queirós scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zacarias Laffitte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 28th minute, Francisco Orlondo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caetano Monteiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Caetano Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Orlondo in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, Icoara Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egídio Lucas to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, one of Icoara Football Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Icoara Football Club. In the 39th minute, Fabrício Rosa made a precise shot to the right of Zacarias Laffitte. Gelp 22's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrício Rosa in the 42nd minute of play forced Gelp 22's goalkeeper Zacarias Laffitte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
