When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Lucas Cepa took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Fulco Briones to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ximen Rosser got free with Fulco Briones in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the match, Snorlax FC's goalkeeper Fulco Briones had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelo Carballal. Cris Ronaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute, Lucas Puebla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fulco Briones made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelo Carballal in the 27th minute. After 28 played minutes Snorlax FC got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Ibarguen. 39 minutes into the match, Snorlax FC's goalkeeper Fulco Briones had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelo Carballal. 46 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's goal looked a bit too open when Cris Ronaldo came free, but Gaspar Verastegui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Puebla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Gaspar Verastegui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After some careless play in the Snorlax FC defense, Angelo Carballal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fulco Briones. The Snorlax FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fulco Briones should have stopped the shot. Lucas Cepa scored 3-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fulco Briones, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Nereo Ibarguen fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Snorlax FC's protests and gave Nereo Ibarguen a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sporting Buceo booed when Snorlax FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Ibarguen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Snorlax FC's goalkeeper Fulco Briones, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lucas Puebla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaspar Verastegui having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Donallo in the 69th minute of play forced Snorlax FC's goalkeeper Fulco Briones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Puebla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Snorlax FC defense, Angelo Carballal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fulco Briones. The Snorlax FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fulco Briones should have stopped the shot. Fulco Briones didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucas Cepa went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 86thth minute of the game Lucas Puebla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Buceo's Gaspar Verastegui was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 90 played minutes Sporting Buceo got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Cepa. Lucas Puebla struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Gaspar Verastegui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Snorlax FC. In the 95th minute Laureano Donallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulco Briones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Snorlax FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
