Vince Potts hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Leopoldo Jacinto Oyarzabal kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. A collision led to Snorlax FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Jonathan Schlegel hit a great ball. Kent Carney charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kent Carney the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes El Canalla de Chicago got a freekick which was hit by Kent Carney. 23 minutes into the match, Ariano Saldías notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of El Canalla de Chicago's Roosevelt Guthrie. Roosevelt Guthrie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Scott Souza in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jose Ferrel saved Snorlax FC from getting behind. 30 minutes into the game, Mariano Van Schowen threw the ball into play from the sideline. El Canalla de Chicago's Tommie Tipton quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 32ndth minute of the game Edelmiro Villar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Canalla de Chicago's Roosevelt Guthrie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roosevelt Guthrie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edelmiro Villar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roosevelt Guthrie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Villar in the 35th minute of the match. Kent Carney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Jose Ferrel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Kent Carney left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Canalla de Chicago fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Edelmiro Villar made the kick off in the second half. Snorlax FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Scott Souza 55 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. Jose Ferrel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Scott Souza in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Carney in the 60th minute of play forced Snorlax FC's goalkeeper Jose Ferrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes in the game, Scott Souza fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jose Ferrel having to interfere. Snorlax FC's Jose Ferrel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Carney in the 65th minute of play. Leo Finn hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Snorlax FC's Ariano Saldías got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, El Canalla de Chicago's Shawn Reyna got a free kick in the 76th minute. The audience was convinced that Ariano Saldías's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roosevelt Guthrie was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. After 80 played minutes Snorlax FC got a freekick which was hit by Laurín Reyes. A collision led to Snorlax FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Jonathan Schlegel hit a great ball. In the 81st minute Shawn Reyna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Ferrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Snorlax FC's Ariano Saldías got a free kick in the 85th minute.
