Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Scott Souza took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Egg Chasers FC booed when El Canalla de Chicago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shawn Reyna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roosevelt Guthrie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jay Mullen in the 5th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Dane Oldham ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roosevelt Guthrie was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Kasey Frederick's late challenge caught a Egg Chasers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kasey Frederick helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th minute, Kasey Frederick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roosevelt Guthrie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jay Mullen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Canalla de Chicago's goalkeeper Roosevelt Guthrie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Egg Chasers FC's Patrick Toovey got a free kick in the 25th minute. Kasey Frederick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ricky Rowe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dane Oldham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Dave Linkletter in the 37th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by El Canalla de Chicago's Tommie Tipton. If Bernie Rosales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The El Canalla de Chicago players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Egg Chasers FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dane Oldham stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53rd play minutes Jay Mullen shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Roosevelt Guthrie and just under the crossbar into goal. Kent Carney hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Jay Mullen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roosevelt Guthrie came out and tried to block the shot, but Jay Mullen slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 65th minute. The supporters of El Canalla de Chicago booed when Egg Chasers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonny Walters didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egg Chasers FC's Ricky Rowe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Scott Souza in the 77th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Dane Oldham ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roosevelt Guthrie was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Roosevelt Guthrie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dane Oldham in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute Patrick Toovey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roosevelt Guthrie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roosevelt Guthrie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dane Oldham, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute, Jay Mullen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The El Canalla de Chicago fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Egg Chasers FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
