KP Brzeg Dolny's Antoni Piesciuk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save KP Brzeg Dolny from getting a goal against them. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind KP Brzeg Dolny's goalkeeper Antoni Piesciuk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, KP Brzeg Dolny's goal looked a bit too open when Nike Cavia came free, but Antoni Piesciuk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stuart Armstrong was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Poland's Edwin van der Sar got control of the ball when Baycan Tura tried to sneak it across the goal line. Antoni Piesciuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pawel Dawidowicz in the 56th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damazy Polek in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antoni Piesciuk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antoni Piesciuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damazy Polek in the 64th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Wiktor Kilian took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Edwin van der Sar to make any attempt to save it. The referee felt a red card was in order, 71 minutes into the game, when Sylwester Barciniak put in a rough tackle. The referee ignored Poland's protests and gave Grzegorz Soszka a yellow card for diving instead. Grzegorz Soszka kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
