Leszek Wielopolski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Maurício Bomba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Firme Verga in the 16th minute of the match. Leszek Wielopolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Errando in the 24th minute of play. Chelsea Football Club's Firme Verga got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maurício Bomba made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Rafal Jakubiak sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Rafal Jakubiak sped through AC LeX Luthor's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maurício Bomba. Maurício Bomba came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Chelsea Football Club's Firme Verga. But to his dismay, Firme Verga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Leszek Wielopolski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Alberto Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of AC LeX Luthor booed when Chelsea Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shi Sheng Ying didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alvaro Errando was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's Carlos Alberto Marquez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leszek Wielopolski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Atilio De la Cuadra made in the 101st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Chelsea Football Club's Robert Rojas. Maurício Bomba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Porfiro in the 105th minute of the match. Maurício Bomba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Porfiro in the 106th minute of play. 109 minutes into the match, Cod Whatman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leszek Wielopolski. Chelsea Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cod Whatman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. AC LeX Luthor's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
