In the 82nd minute, Primitivo Chorche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Varadouro F. C.'s Oséias Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Arroyo Dulce's zone, He Yao Jing stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Arotza came out of the goal and He Yao Jing tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute, Primitivo Chorche ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zacarias Arotza was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Oro in the 95th minute of play forced Varadouro F. C.'s goalkeeper Silvestre Oro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Varadouro F. C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antonio Lidon was slow to take the kick. During this time Arroyo Dulce's players had a chance to rest. In the 98th minute of the match Arroyo Dulce got a corner. Varadouro F. C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antonio Lidon ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Varadouro F. C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
