The corner ended in Tim Vranken almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but S.F.'s Adilson Alcântara did a great save. In the 14th minute Régis Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willem-Jan Hollanders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Les Bistouquettes Bleues's goal looked a bit too open when Breno Vieira came free, but Willem-Jan Hollanders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 17 minutes, Oihan De Toro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Les Bistouquettes Bleues's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oihan De Toro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee showed Breno Vieira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bryan Creemers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Adilson Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Régis Ramalho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. S.F.'s Adilson Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oihan De Toro in the 53rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Régis Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Régis Ramalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Willem-Jan Hollanders breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adilson Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oihan De Toro, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryan Creemers in the 65th minute of play forced S.F.'s goalkeeper Adilson Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
