Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kenn Nelis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Ivan Chiuzbaian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kryspin Kisiel in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Zhao Sen Yang left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 35th minute Zhao Sen Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Marie Van Landschoot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, one of HellBoys Sieradz:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for HellBoys Sieradz. Olov Ahlbeck took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jean-Marie Van Landschoot. Jean-Marie Van Landschoot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. When Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. HellBoys Sieradz's Boguslaw Jurgiel was substituted for Lucjan Cuber. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kenn Nelis made a kick off. Zhao Sen Yang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Marie Van Landschoot having to interfere. With a little luck, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian got control of the ball when Iwan Glapiak tried to sneak it across the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Olov Ahlbeck got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jean-Marie Van Landschoot quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang got a free kick in the 64th minute. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Mugurel Pandele was substituted for İlhami Akyazıcı. Zhao Sen Yang kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Ivan Chiuzbaian made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Kenn Nelis sent off a good shot on target. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Zhao Sen Yang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- made a substitution. Cătălin Tudoran replaced Stasio Bienienda. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after HellBoys Sieradz's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cătălin Tudoran took the corner. The audience was convinced that Zhao Sen Yang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jean-Marie Van Landschoot was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the HellBoys Sieradz players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-.
