Ivan Chiuzbaian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yang Zhan Xiao in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Manos Briolas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by 狄朗沙 in the 13th minute of play forced Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Ivan Chiuzbaian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Zhao Sen Yang took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Elias Rozarius to make any attempt to save it. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yang Zhan Xiao in the 20th minute of play. In the 20thth minute of the game Yang Zhan Xiao who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22ndth minute of the game Zhao Sen Yang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Unión De Santa Fe's Elias Rozarius was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute Kostas Skilitsis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Chiuzbaian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unión De Santa Fe's Elias Rozarius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Unión De Santa Fe from getting a goal against them. In the 34th minute, Yang Zhan Xiao ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Chiuzbaian was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 36th match minute, Unión De Santa Fe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Vellito to maneuver through the defense. Elias Rozarius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zhao Sen Yang went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Unión De Santa Fe's Elias Rozarius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Unión De Santa Fe from getting a goal against them. 44 minutes into the game, Zhao Sen Yang cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Elias Rozarius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Unión De Santa Fe:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-:s goal. The referee gave Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Olov Ahlbeck, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Unión De Santa Fe's Elias Rozarius. 5-1. Manos Briolas hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- made a substitution. Mugurel Pandele replaced İlhami Akyazıcı. Manos Briolas kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Natalio Elixio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Olov Ahlbeck in the 64th minute. After 69th play minutes 狄朗沙 shot 5-2, a short shot which went by Ivan Chiuzbaian and just under the crossbar into goal. Elias Rozarius came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang. But to his dismay, Zhao Sen Yang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. 96 minutes into the match, Zhao Sen Yang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elias Rozarius. Unión De Santa Fe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zhao Sen Yang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- fans cheered their team off the field, for while Unión De Santa Fe had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
