The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes, Prospero Breogan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Miraflores FC and the Nirihau AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the Nirihau AFC defense, Gilberto Delfino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonardo Salvino. The Nirihau AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonardo Salvino should have stopped the shot. Nirihau AFC's Pedro Foro got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgard Gelacio hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilberto Delfino in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonardo Salvino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th match minute, Miraflores FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Koldobika to maneuver through the defense. Gilberto Delfino, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 46 played minutes Nirihau AFC got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Rojelio.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilberto Delfino made a kick off. Leonardo Salvino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilberto Delfino's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. After some careless play in the Nirihau AFC defense, Gilberto Delfino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonardo Salvino. Gilberto Delfino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Leonardo Salvino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Salvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Basajaun in the 64th minute of the match. Leonardo Salvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Delfino in the 70th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Nirihau AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Delfino came free, but Leonardo Salvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Flavio Rojelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Prospero Breogan kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Delfino in the 91st minute of play forced Nirihau AFC's goalkeeper Leonardo Salvino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Miraflores FC's Cipriano Koldobika seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cipriano Koldobika the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Miraflores FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cipriano Koldobika had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 93rd minute, one of Miraflores FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Miraflores FC. The referee gave Nirihau AFC a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Raul Kaxen, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Miraflores FC's Ernesto Eliazar. 5-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Miraflores FC fully deserved thier win.
