In the 5th minute Stanislaw Cempa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Gilesindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute Benito Llorenc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Mier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Petri Romuroso made a precise shot to the right of Gregorio Gilesindo. Golden Generation's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 15 minutes, Rogelio Viator mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Golden Generation and the Sabaneta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rogelio Viator hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Rian Giggs took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gregorio Gilesindo. Gregorio Gilesindo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Rian Giggs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Gilesindo having to interfere. Guaberto Paio hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Cássio Correia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gregorio Gilesindo, 4-0. Sabaneta FC's Cássio Correia got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cássio Correia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregorio Gilesindo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Stanislaw Cempa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gregorio Gilesindo. That made the score 5-0 in the 32 minute of play. Gregorio Gilesindo stood somewhat misplaced when Stanislaw Cempa came free in front of goal and shot 6-0 to the left of him in the 37 minute. Golden Generation's Gregorio Gilesindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rian Giggs in the 39th minute of play. It was beautiful to see Sabaneta FC's Fabian Lawrence in action when he in the 48th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Micki Owen made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Rian Giggs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Gregorio Gilesindo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rian Giggs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Golden Generation's Gregorio Gilesindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petri Romuroso in the 57th minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Petri Romuroso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Gregorio Gilesindo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sabaneta FC made a substitution. Firman Urquizu replaced Bonifaco Corrillos. Sabaneta FC's Osmundo Bolde was substituted for Fabian Lawrence. 73 minutes into the match, Golden Generation's goal looked a bit too open when Stanislaw Cempa came free, but Gregorio Gilesindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kevin Mier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Micki Owen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Roi Vergas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gregorio Gilesindo was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. After 81 played minutes Golden Generation got a freekick which was hit by Sung Park. Gregorio Gilesindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Rian Giggs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gregorio Gilesindo was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. Sabaneta FC's Petri Romuroso managed to work through Golden Generation's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Petri Romuroso dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Gregorio Gilesindo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rian Giggs's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Sabaneta FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
