The Cavern Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rogelio Sadurni ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rogelio Sadurni made a great header on CA Quake's corner, it was just that The Cavern Club's Vladimir Prestes managed to reach the ball for a save. Silverio Cordearo was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Alberigo Prosperi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberigo Prosperi to strike the kick off in the second half. The Cavern Club's attentive Vecdi Baysan managed to snatch the ball when Tomi Giusti made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. Alberigo Prosperi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silverio Cordearo having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberigo Prosperi in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silverio Cordearo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberigo Prosperi in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silverio Cordearo saved CA Quake from getting behind. Vladimir Prestes made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Benicio Balasi sent off a good shot on target. 58 minutes into the match, CA Quake's goal looked a bit too open when Alberigo Prosperi came free, but Silverio Cordearo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Benicio Balasi notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of The Cavern Club's Vladimir Prestes. Vladimir Prestes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alberigo Prosperi scored 3-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silverio Cordearo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Cavern Club's Jairo Montes was substituted for Alberigo Prosperi. Silverio Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Montes in the 68th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Jairo Montes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silverio Cordearo. CA Quake's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jairo Montes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. CA Quake made a substitution. Igor Jago replaced Abel Inko. CA Quake's Jacobo Mouricio was substituted for Victoriano Sustrai. CA Quake's Eloy Larra was substituted for Tomi Giusti. The Cavern Club's Vladimir Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benicio Balasi in the 78th minute of play. After having played for 84 minutes, Cayetano Aznaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA Quake's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cayetano Aznaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silverio Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Montes in the 87th minute of play. After a rather tough play, The Cavern Club's Dabi Saens got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Vladimir Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Balasi in the 94th minute of play.
