Howard Acton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 29 minutes into the match, Goal Diggers FC's goal looked a bit too open when 高竞鸿 came free, but Howard Acton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 云南玉昆足球俱乐部 were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Goal Diggers FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 董辰磊 took the corner. The supporters of 云南玉昆足球俱乐部 booed when Goal Diggers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Holroyd didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 朱远宽 to make the kick off. Howard Acton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 朱远宽 in the 63rd minute of the match. Grant Stockton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. 何树光 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If 董辰磊 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th match minute, Goal Diggers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Simpson to maneuver through the defense. Howard Acton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 朱远宽, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the game, 鲁凡卫 recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Howard Acton. 鲁凡卫 showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. In the 83rd minute, Laurence Rashleigh ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 何树光 was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. 89 minutes into the game, 云南玉昆足球俱乐部's 董辰磊 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Howard Acton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-8. 朱远宽 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 云南玉昆足球俱乐部 played a much better game than Goal Diggers FC and deserved their victory. The Goal Diggers FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
