CA Pollo Broster's Federico Guillen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duane Kellogg in the 5th minute of play. After 5 played minutes HNRY West Boys got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Chester. Hernan Haritz's late challenge caught a HNRY West Boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hernan Haritz helped the player get up and apologised. When Simon Déziel came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the HNRY West Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Déziel couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute of the match Luisito Patxi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but André Crain showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin Henry in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Crain prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind CA Pollo Broster's goalkeeper Federico Guillen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Timothée Pelletier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Federico Guillen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duane Kellogg in the 28th minute of play. Timothée Pelletier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Federico Guillen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Federico Guillen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Duane Kellogg in the 32nd minute. Aquilino Rodriguez kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Benjamin Henry got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benjamin Henry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Crain having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Duane Kellogg in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With his leg Federico Guillen managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when HNRY West Boys's Duane Kellogg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 47 played minutes CA Pollo Broster got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Sugoi. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Duane Kellogg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Duane Kellogg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CA Pollo Broster's Federico Guillen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of HNRY West Boys booed when CA Pollo Broster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Haritz didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duane Kellogg in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Federico Guillen saved CA Pollo Broster from getting behind. Federico Guillen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duane Kellogg, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Jamal Lang hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Henry in the 76th minute of play forced HNRY West Boys's goalkeeper André Crain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Crain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Henry in the 80th minute of the match. After 83 minutes, Nicasio Abad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CA Pollo Broster and the HNRY West Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th match minute, CA Pollo Broster was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicasio Abad to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the game, Hipolito Chester was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. HNRY West Boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CA Pollo Broster the free kick. Benjamin Henry struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. André Crain didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA Pollo Broster. Federico Guillen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duane Kellogg in the 92nd minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
