Blar McJames took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boyce Grant. Boyce Grant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 8th minute, Pearse McOliver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, Binnech Dimson notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Shanlaragh AFC's Brennan Coyle. Brennan Coyle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 26th match minute, Shanlaragh AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierce McBjarton to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rdth minute of the game Binnech Dimson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Shanlaragh AFC's Brennan Coyle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paud Horgan's late challenge caught a Shanlaragh AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paud Horgan helped the player get up and apologised. Shanlaragh AFC's Blar McJames got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Binnech Dimson notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Shanlaragh AFC's Brennan Coyle. Brennan Coyle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Binnech Dimson might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brennan Coyle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Binnech Dimson ran back to his position shaking his head. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Binnech Dimson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Blar McJames made a precise shot to the right of Boyce Grant. Dromagh's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After 54 minutes, Harry McAlphie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dromagh and the Shanlaragh AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Shanlaragh AFC booed when Dromagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry McAlphie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shanlaragh AFC's Pearse McOliver managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Payton McGlenn in the 61 minute of the game. Pearse McOliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dromagh's Boyce Grant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blar McJames in the 66th minute of play. Boyce Grant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Blar McJames went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Boyce Grant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blar McJames, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Harry McAlphie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Payton McGlenn made in the 92nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Binnech Dimson immediately put the ball in play. The supporters of Shanlaragh AFC booed when Dromagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brendanus Caffey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boyce Grant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blar McJames, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
