Howard Acton was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of HNRY West Boys booed when Goal Diggers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denny Fowler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute Hipolito Chester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Howard Acton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Goal Diggers FC defense, Hipolito Chester kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Howard Acton. The Goal Diggers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Howard Acton should have stopped the shot. In the 26th minute Léonard Lazure shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Howard Acton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, David Anson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29thth minute of the game Geoffroi Simms who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Goal Diggers FC's Howard Acton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. David Anson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Geoffroi Simms left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The HNRY West Boys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. David Anson hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Léonard Lazure managed to get in a good position for a shot. HNRY West Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Léonard Lazure was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Howard Acton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Geoffroi Simms could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Howard Acton however easily saved by the left post.
