Vidar Tingelholm started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes Hakenäset FF got a freekick which was hit by Vilhelm Björk. Olov Stenström scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brennan Coyle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Shanlaragh AFC's Bohannon Ryan got a free kick in the 10th minute. Blar McJames sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the match, Hakenäset FF's goal looked a bit too open when Blar McJames came free, but Nils Nässén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Blar McJames's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nils Nässén was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After 20 played minutes Hakenäset FF got a freekick which was hit by Gert Beck. If Blar McJames had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barry McGlynn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Nils Nässén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blar McJames sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blar McJames fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Nässén having to interfere. 31 minutes in the game, Gill Kelly fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Nils Nässén having to interfere. Blar McJames might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nils Nässén. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Blar McJames ran back to his position shaking his head. If Blar McJames had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gert Beck hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Kasper Odman charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kasper Odman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd minute, Kasper Odman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Blar McJames in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nils Nässén saved Hakenäset FF from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Blar McJames stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Gordan Cronin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shanlaragh AFC and the Hakenäset FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 51 played minutes Shanlaragh AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gordan Cronin. Shanlaragh AFC's Brennan Coyle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vidar Tingelholm in the 68th minute of play. Nils Nässén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blar McJames, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Ricard Keegan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th match minute, Hakenäset FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gert Beck to maneuver through the defense. Blar McJames might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nils Nässén. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Blar McJames ran back to his position shaking his head. Blar McJames sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nils Nässén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blar McJames, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hakenäset FF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
