Felix Dry might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl-Oskar Haegg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Dry ran back to his position shaking his head. Karl-Oskar Haegg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kirk Durkin in the 8th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Folke Lagerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Mortimer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Austen Marston charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Austen Marston the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes Medway FC got a freekick which was hit by Austen Marston. Alf Mortimer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Folke Lagerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Alf Mortimer made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Douglas Martinsson sent off a good shot on target. Alf Mortimer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Martinsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rune Kvick's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Alf Mortimer skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The throw-in from Karl Lundkvist in the 26th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Medway FC's Jordan Wilkins. Medway FC's Alf Mortimer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Martinsson in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute Folke Lagerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Mortimer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alf Mortimer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magnus Olsson in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd match minute, Medway FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wally Heath to maneuver through the defense. Felix Dry blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl-Oskar Haegg having to make a save. Alf Mortimer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Folke Lagerberg in the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Martinsson in the 39th minute of play forced Medway FC's goalkeeper Alf Mortimer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alf Mortimer was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Douglas Martinsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Douglas Martinsson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Folke Lagerberg to strike the kick off in the second half. AS Rom's Karl-Oskar Haegg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Dry in the 51st minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Folke Lagerberg notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Medway FC's Alf Mortimer. Alf Mortimer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Lars Falck managed to get in a good position for a shot. AS Rom's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Falck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alf Mortimer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Martinsson in the 88th minute of play forced Medway FC's goalkeeper Alf Mortimer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jordan Wilkins hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Karl-Oskar Haegg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Dry in the 93rd minute. Alf Mortimer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Folke Lagerberg in the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Douglas Martinsson notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Medway FC's Alf Mortimer.
