He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AS Rom reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Kvick in the 12th minute of play forced Shanlaragh AFC's goalkeeper Brennan Coyle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute of the game Arne Berggren made a throw-in which Albin Fribäck played forward. Brennan Coyle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rune Kvick in the 17th minute of play. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Rune Kvick sped through Shanlaragh AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Brennan Coyle. 26 minutes into the game, AS Rom's Boris Dahlberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brennan Coyle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 28th match minute, AS Rom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Fribäck to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Shanlaragh AFC's Blar McJames dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Karl-Oskar Haegg was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Blar McJames capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Blar McJames really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Blar McJames struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Karl-Oskar Haegg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shanlaragh AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blar McJames in the 38th minute of play forced AS Rom's goalkeeper Karl-Oskar Haegg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Dahlberg in the 45th minute of play forced Shanlaragh AFC's goalkeeper Brennan Coyle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Boris Dahlberg made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Boris Dahlberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brennan Coyle was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Boris Dahlberg sped through Shanlaragh AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Brennan Coyle. Blar McJames recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Torbjörn Josefsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Brennan Coyle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl-Oskar Haegg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blar McJames in the 67th minute of the match. Blar McJames sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pierce McBjarton hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 82 minutes in the game Valter Forssell did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Albin Fribäck. Rune Kvick could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Brennan Coyle made a huge save. 88 minutes into the match, AS Rom's goal looked a bit too open when Blar McJames came free, but Karl-Oskar Haegg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rune Kvick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot by Boris Dahlberg from long distance, 95 minutes into the match, got Brennan Coyle's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A collision led to AS Rom getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Valter Forssell hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched AS Rom eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
