In the 4th minute, Central Coast Mariners's 曲誉真 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Calum Hirst. Calum Hirst yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 9 minutes into the game, Windsor's Kyle Robson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 许冰云 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After some careless play in the Central Coast Mariners defense, Kyle Robson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 许冰云. The Central Coast Mariners fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 许冰云 should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by 曲誉真 in the 18th minute of play forced Windsor's goalkeeper Calum Hirst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calum Hirst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 黄泉勇 in the 20th minute of the match. Roy Longden's late challenge caught a Central Coast Mariners's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roy Longden helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Central Coast Mariners booed when Windsor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roy Longden didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the game, 曲誉真 recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Calum Hirst. 曲誉真 showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. After 33 played minutes Central Coast Mariners got a freekick which was hit by 龚邦希. In the 35th minute, 黄泉勇 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Central Coast Mariners fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Central Coast Mariners's 齐斌适 was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 38th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 曲誉真 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Calum Hirst having to make a save. 曲誉真 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Calum Hirst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-2 at half-time.

齐斌适 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rupert Norman hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the game, 曲誉真 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-2. Calum Hirst was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 59th minute, 蒋坚骏 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 61 played minutes Central Coast Mariners got a freekick which was hit by 钱笑笑. Windsor's Frank Gavan suffered a sore thigh after 63 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 钱笑笑 charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 钱笑笑 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 64 played minutes Central Coast Mariners got a freekick which was hit by 钱笑笑. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Rupert Norman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Windsor's supporters rose to their feet, but Rupert Norman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 许冰云 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 曲誉真 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Windsor's Calum Hirst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 曲誉真 in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 曲誉真 in the 75th minute of play forced Windsor's goalkeeper Calum Hirst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 齐斌适 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calum Hirst having to interfere. In the 80th minute 曲誉真 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calum Hirst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Derek Heath made in the 82nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Central Coast Mariners's 蒋坚骏. Calum Hirst didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Central Coast Mariners's 曲誉真 shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 7-2 in the ordered_time% minute. 曲誉真 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calum Hirst having to interfere. After 88 played minutes Windsor got a freekick which was hit by Des Munroe. Calum Hirst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 曲誉真, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. If 曲誉真 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Central Coast Mariners's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
