The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in DINAMO's zone, Thomas Vollmar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ysmael Marfil came out of the goal and Thomas Vollmar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the match, Newcastle United's Thomas Vollmar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ysmael Marfil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mikolaj Jerzyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryszard Borcz in the 11th minute of the match. Thomas Vollmar scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ysmael Marfil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. DINAMO's Ryszard Borcz got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute Thomas Vollmar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Marfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mikolaj Jerzyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moise Vlădean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Newcastle United's goal looked a bit too open when 邓真傲 came free, but Mikolaj Jerzyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Vollmars short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Ysmael Marfil to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Edgar Lampa hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute of the match 邓真傲 sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mikolaj Jerzyk skillfully saved the ball. In the 37th minute of the match, Pankracy Malicki got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ysmael Marfil was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Thomas Vollmar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 39th minute 邓真傲 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikolaj Jerzyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marian Erland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ysmael Marfil having to interfere. Ysmael Marfil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pankracy Malicki in the 48th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when 邓真傲 made the kick off in the second half. Ysmael Marfil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Pacholewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 57 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by 邓真傲. After a rather tough play, DINAMO's 邓真傲 got a free kick in the 58th minute. After having played for 63 minutes, Moise Vlădean managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DINAMO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moise Vlădean was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pankracy Malicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ysmael Marfil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Thomas Vollmar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ysmael Marfil was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Vollmar in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ysmael Marfil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. DINAMO's 邓真傲 got his second yellow card of the match in the 76th minute. The referee ordered 邓真傲 off the ground. A collision led to DINAMO getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. 邓真傲 hit a great ball. After some careless play in the DINAMO defense, Thomas Vollmar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ysmael Marfil. The DINAMO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ysmael Marfil should have stopped the shot. In the 83rd minute, Moise Vlădean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th match minute, DINAMO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henric Casas to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Vollmar in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ysmael Marfil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 89 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Remus Pinaichev. The supporters of Newcastle United booed when DINAMO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryszard Borcz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Thomas Vollmar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 94 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Henric Casas. In the 95th minute, Thomas Vollmar made a precise shot to the right of Ysmael Marfil. DINAMO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0.
