An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Linares in the 5th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Artaldo to maneuver through the defense. Jeferson Corrêa hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Benjamin Kvammen notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski. Robinho Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugur Chiriac in the 29th minute of the match. When Giovani Dracena fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DJVAGALUMY FC.'s protests and gave Giovani Dracena a yellow card for diving instead. Robinho Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Goicoechea in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Mugur Chiriac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Atlanta's Mugur Chiriac nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robinho Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Ruan Dal Bello made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of DJVAGALUMY FC. booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Erroman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Kvammen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benjamin Kvammen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pankracy Glogowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. DJVAGALUMY FC.'s Ruan Dal Bello got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Club Atlético Atlanta made a substitution. Eustaquio Jaizki replaced Mugur Chiriac. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Kvammen in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pankracy Glogowski saved Club Atlético Atlanta from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Fabio Artaldo got a free kick in the 76th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Kvammen came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Jaizki in the 83rd minute of play forced DJVAGALUMY FC.'s goalkeeper Robinho Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eustaquio Jaizki struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Robinho Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Atlanta. Eustaquio Jaizki received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Robinho Amorim came out and tried to block the shot, but Eustaquio Jaizki slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 91st minute. With a little luck, DJVAGALUMY FC.'s Robinho Amorim got control of the ball when Alfonso Goicoechea tried to sneak it across the goal line. The DJVAGALUMY FC. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Club Atlético Atlanta were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
