The referee felt a red card was in order, 39 minutes into the game, when Herminio Aujea put in a rough tackle. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bautista Bausa was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes Ajax Colombiano got a freekick which was hit by Matias Zuñiga. The supporters of Westra Aros SK booed when Ajax Colombiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mitxaut Matias didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Ajax Colombiano getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Matias Zuñiga hit a great ball. In the 67th minute of the match Örjan Vallander sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mancio Arana skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Yngve Lindberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mancio Arana was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Ajax Colombiano's Mancio Arana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Adelsköld in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Westra Aros SK's Axel Linberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mancio Arana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Matias Zuñiga struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Stefan Söder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ajax Colombiano. Ajax Colombiano's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
