Wakanda fv FSCMZ's Armandinho Mattos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Ofelio in the 3rd minute of play. Armandinho Mattos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Ofelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armandinho Mattos stood somewhat misplaced when Maximino Ofelio came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 12 minute. Armandinho Mattos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Ofelio in the 15th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Maximino Ofelio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armandinho Mattos was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. After 21 played minutes, SAN LORENZO FC's Clodoveo Vellito shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Armandinho Mattos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SAN LORENZO FC reached it. Armandinho Mattos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximino Ofelio in the 22nd minute. Nereo Timo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 26 played minutes Wakanda fv FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Oswaldo Gonçalves. Armandinho Mattos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Ofelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Armandinho Mattos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Ofelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armandinho Mattos acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 44th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Clodoveo Vellito. After a rather tough play, Wakanda fv FSCMZ's Mateus de Almeida got a free kick in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Bernardo Romeo managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAN LORENZO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Romeo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armandinho Mattos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Wakanda fv FSCMZ's Dino Soeiro got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Clodoveo Vellito, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Waldemar Camargo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 55th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Armandinho Mattos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximino Ofelio's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Romeo in the 63rd minute of play forced Wakanda fv FSCMZ's goalkeeper Armandinho Mattos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armandinho Mattos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximino Ofelio went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 68 minutes into the match, Wakanda fv FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Ofelio came free, but Armandinho Mattos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximino Ofelio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armandinho Mattos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 80th match minute, SAN LORENZO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Romeo to maneuver through the defense. Gavino Fortun hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Armandinho Mattos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Romeo, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Armandinho Mattos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAN LORENZO FC. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Oswaldo Gonçalves took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Primitivo Salomone to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximino Ofelio in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armandinho Mattos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SAN LORENZO FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
