Laziali's Delyan Súrnev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Johansson in the 7th minute of play. After 9 minutes, Daniel Åhman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bajen and the Laziali players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bajen's Rafael Bide got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 17th minute Darin Gladichev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sture Abrahamsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thomas Rix stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Delyan Súrnev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidney Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delyan Súrnev was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bajen's Rolf Henriksson was substituted for Sidney Porto. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 2-8 when Rolf Henriksson sped through Laziali's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Delyan Súrnev. Bajen played a much better game than Laziali and deserved their victory. The Laziali players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
