In the 5thth minute of the game Lizar Balague who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ekaterinburg FC's Valeriy Kapustin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gervasio Balza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valeriy Kapustin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Balza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nacional's Lizar Balague got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 19 played minutes Ekaterinburg FC got a freekick which was hit by Egor Berzarin. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lizar Balague in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valeriy Kapustin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 21 minutes into the match, Gervasio Balza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valeriy Kapustin. Ekaterinburg FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gervasio Balza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Valeriy Kapustin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lizar Balague, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Evgeniy Terentiev's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zavier Lozada firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Gervasio Balza put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Valeriy Kapustin. Gervasio Balza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valeriy Kapustin having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Gervasio Balza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valeriy Kapustin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demyan Sidorov in the 45th minute of play forced Nacional's goalkeeper Zavier Lozada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zavier Lozada stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Demyan Sidorov's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gervasio Balza made a kick off. Evgeniy Terentiev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 53 minutes into the match, Demyan Sidorov notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Nacional's Zavier Lozada. Zavier Lozada was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gervasio Balza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valeriy Kapustin having to interfere. If Igor Dehkanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 65 played minutes Ekaterinburg FC got a freekick which was hit by Egor Berzarin. In the 66th minute, Isadore Castejon fired a really elegant long shot, but Valeriy Kapustin threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. When Chico Maja fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nacional's protests and gave Chico Maja a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Nacional getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Chico Maja hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Madeo Quelia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ekaterinburg FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! Evgeniy Terentiev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Zavier Lozada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valeriy Kapustin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervasio Balza, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute.
