Gilvan Campidelis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Isac Dichiseanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilvan Campidelis was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. In the 10th match minute, Rocketships was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caco Lopez to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Rocketships's goal looked a bit too open when Florin Verzeanu came free, but Gilvan Campidelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hélder Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Benjamim Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, one of Unimat:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Unimat. Ronaldão Valladares placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! A collision led to Unimat getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Calistrat Melentie hit a great ball. Hélder Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florin Uncu having to interfere. A collision led to Rocketships getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Inácio Vinhas hit a great ball. Benjamim Tasso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Florin Uncu made a huge save. The supporters of Unimat booed when Rocketships was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Rosado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilvan Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihăiţă Troncotă in the 43rd minute of play. After 46 minutes, Florin Verzeanu made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Rocketships's Gilvan Campidelis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

51 minutes into the game, Rocketships's Hélder Medeiros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Florin Uncu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Florin Uncu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Isac Dichiseanus short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Gilvan Campidelis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hélder Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Florin Uncu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamim Tasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florin Uncu having to interfere. When Ronaldão Valladares fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
