Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Limmared's Arvid Löfskog started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mugur Bocaneț got free with Jerry Gustavsson in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rickard Holmgren's late challenge caught a Unimat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rickard Holmgren helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Limmared's Rickard Holmgren got a free kick in the 9th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Tomas Alberg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Unimat's Florin Uncu. Florin Uncu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Isac Dichiseanu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jerry Gustavsson firmly grabbed it by the left post. Oskar Örtendahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Florin Uncu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Unimat's goal looked a bit too open when Arvid Löfskog came free, but Florin Uncu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isac Dichiseanu got free with Jerry Gustavsson in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st minute, August Gernberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Limmared fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Kilstedt in the 34th minute of play forced Unimat's goalkeeper Florin Uncu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Călin Suşu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Arvid Löfskog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Unimat booed when Limmared was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulf Kilstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Limmared's goal looked a bit too open when Florin Verzeanu came free, but Jerry Gustavsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arvid Löfskog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Unimat players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Limmared were winning 0-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florin Verzeanu to make the kick off. A collision led to Unimat getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Cristi Mailat hit a great ball. Limmared's Arvid Löfskog shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 58th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Florin Uncu but with some difficulty. Limmared's Jerry Gustavsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florin Verzeanu in the 60th minute of play. Arvid Löfskog who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Florin Uncu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Isac Dichiseanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oskar Örtendahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Florin Uncu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Limmared supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Limmared would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
