Vitold Koshkarev's late challenge caught a AC SPARTA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vitold Koshkarev helped the player get up and apologised. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Velecký during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to AC SPARTA getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Martin Velecký hit a great ball. AC SPARTA's Jáchym Pospíchal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demyan Sidorov in the 8th minute of play. Petr Baránek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ekaterinburg FC's Igor Dehkanov got a free kick in the 11th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Petr Baránek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Valeriy Kapustin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Demyan Sidorov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute, Evgeniy Terentiev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jiří Hadrava received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Valeriy Kapustin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Igor Giermati during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 32 played minutes Ekaterinburg FC got a freekick which was hit by Igor Giermati. In the 34th match minute, Ekaterinburg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilya Pogudin to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute Jiří Hadrava shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valeriy Kapustin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jáchym Pospíchal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demyan Sidorov in the 40th minute of the match. Ekaterinburg FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Boris Zagorskiy in the 42nd minute. Karel Perlík sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Demyan Sidorov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Jiří Hadrava ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valeriy Kapustin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Valeriy Kapustin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jiří Hadrava in the 53rd minute of the match. Jiří Hadrava sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Valeriy Kapustin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jiří Hadrava, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After having played for 59 minutes, Jiří Hadrava managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC SPARTA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jiří Hadrava was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jiří Hadrava's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valeriy Kapustin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to Ekaterinburg FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Igor Giermati hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Ekaterinburg FC defense, Bronislav Toms kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valeriy Kapustin. The Ekaterinburg FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valeriy Kapustin should have stopped the shot. Valeriy Kapustin came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by AC SPARTA's Bronislav Toms. But to his dismay, Bronislav Toms quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Jiří Hadrava put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Valeriy Kapustin. In the 94th match minute, Ekaterinburg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egor Berzarin to maneuver through the defense. After 95 played minutes AC SPARTA got a freekick which was hit by Martin Velecký. AC SPARTA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
