Valeriy Kapustin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arman Björkkvist went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Gilbert Billström took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valeriy Kapustin. Valeriy Kapustin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Valeriy Kapustin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olle Byström in the 12th minute of play. A collision led to Ekaterinburg FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Egor Berzarin hit a great ball. Andréas Tunberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Valeriy Kapustin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ekaterinburg FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Bengt-Åke Olofsson scored to the left of an out of position Valeriy Kapustin, making the score, 3-0. Olle Byström scored 4-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valeriy Kapustin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Frösön booed when Ekaterinburg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Giermati didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olle Byström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valeriy Kapustin having to interfere. After 29 minutes, Ilya Pogudin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ekaterinburg FC and the Frösön players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 played minutes Ekaterinburg FC got a freekick which was hit by Ilya Pogudin. The crowd rose to their feet as Frösön's Olle Byström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Valeriy Kapustin. That made the score 5-0 after 31 minutes of play. Valeriy Kapustin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilbert Billström, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Christian Larsfält showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demyan Sidorov in the 36th minute of the match. Arman Björkkvist struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Valeriy Kapustin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frösön. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arman Björkkvist got free with Valeriy Kapustin in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Demyan Sidorov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Egor Berzarin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ekaterinburg FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Egor Berzarin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Larsfält breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 57th minute, Olle Byström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Frösön fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Frösön's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Demyan Sidorov scored to the left of an out of position Christian Larsfält, making the score, 6-1.
