Baraxil Sarrate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edinson Haaland in the 11th minute of play. Valentin Voicu scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frank Frankfurter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. VILLARREAL UNITED's Baraxil Sarrate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edinson Haaland in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Ercole Passalacqua threw the ball into play from the sideline. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Bai Feng Xiang quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Valentin Voicu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Frank Frankfurter when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 24 minutes into the match, VILLARREAL UNITED's goal looked a bit too open when Tytus Orling came free, but Baraxil Sarrate reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florian Pruss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Frankfurter having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Valentin Voicu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Frank Frankfurter. That made the score 2-0 in the 34 minute of play. The corner ended in Delmar Campello almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Frank Frankfurter did a great save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Edinson Haaland made the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Baraxil Sarrate successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Edinson Haaland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edinson Haaland in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baraxil Sarrate saved VILLARREAL UNITED from getting behind. In the 60th minute Edinson Haaland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baraxil Sarrate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
