In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fetiyerd's goalkeeper Montes Quevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 9th minute, Xepe Godan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Montes Quevedo. The goal made the score 1-0. Serafin Bernal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Rua, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, Mateo Gartzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute of the match Arjen Robben shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Serafin Bernal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 19 minutes of play, Talleres de Escalada's Xepe Godan made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Montes Quevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 23 minutes into the match, Talleres de Escalada's goal looked a bit too open when Kenneth Heise came free, but Serafin Bernal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Xepe Godan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Montes Quevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xepe Godan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xepe Godan in the 31st minute of play forced Fetiyerd's goalkeeper Montes Quevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xepe Godan got free with Montes Quevedo in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Xepe Godan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Montes Quevedo was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. In the 39th minute Aurelio Rivas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Bernal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raymond Litago hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Serafin Bernal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arjen Robben in the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xepe Godan was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Talleres de Escalada's goalkeeper Serafin Bernal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kenneth Heise. Talleres de Escalada's attentive Cecilio Lesardo managed to snatch the ball when Arjen Robben made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. With a little luck, Talleres de Escalada's Serafin Bernal got control of the ball when Aurelio Rivas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aurelio Rivas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fetiyerd made a substitution. Emeterio Gene replaced Julián Paris. 67 minutes into the match, Talleres de Escalada's goal looked a bit too open when Arjen Robben came free, but Serafin Bernal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurelio Rivas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Serafin Bernal made a huge save. Vinicio Carballeira hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Fetiyerd's Oliverios Astudillo was substituted for Vinicio Carballeira. After 72 played minutes Fetiyerd got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Carballeira. In the 77th minute Severiano Rua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Bernal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Talleres de Escalada's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Cristiano Mezquita scored to the left of an out of position Serafin Bernal, making the score, 2-1. In the 82nd minute, Aurelio Rivas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Serafin Bernal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emeterio Gene in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Rivas in the 86th minute of play forced Talleres de Escalada's goalkeeper Serafin Bernal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Talleres de Escalada were victorious despite being under pressure from Fetiyerd for much of the match.
