Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Braulio Manny successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abbas Ağayarov in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Braulio Manny saved Carapa FC from getting behind. 21 minutes into the game, Äliqulu Vermäliyev recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Braulio Manny. Äliqulu Vermäliyev showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 30th match minute, Azerbaijan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sädräddin Cavadov to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Azerbaijan's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Gonzalez came free, but Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lázaro Ramone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Braulio Manny made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Säftär Güläliyev sent off a good shot on target. Braulio Manny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Säftär Güläliyev, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 38th play minutes Säftär Güläliyev shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Braulio Manny and just under the crossbar into goal. 41 minutes into the match, Azerbaijan's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Ugutz came free, but Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Carapa FC's Lucas Ugutz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 46th minute Lucas Ugutz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucas Ugutz to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rangel Machev during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas Ugutz's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Braulio Manny didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Säftär Güläliyev went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice moves Kong Liang Wen could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov however easily saved by the left post. 81 minutes into the match, Carapa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Säftär Güläliyev came free, but Braulio Manny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Azerbaijan's Äliqulu Vermäliyev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Braulio Manny made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Braulio Manny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Äliqulu Vermäliyev, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Äliqulu Vermäliyev might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Braulio Manny. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Äliqulu Vermäliyev ran back to his position shaking his head. After 94 played minutes Carapa FC got a freekick which was hit by Celso Lucila. In the 95th minute of the match Qaryağdı Isayev sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Braulio Manny skillfully saved the ball. Azerbaijan's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
