The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes, Cláudio Rochedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Angola City and the Fcsb players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cláudio Rochedo kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After 6 minutes, Simão Fernandes Braga made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Fcsb's Vasile Roşca tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 10th minute Nichifor Alexandroae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino De Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Simão Fernandes Braga made a precise shot to the right of Vasile Roşca. Fcsb's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Fcsb's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simão Fernandes Braga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. The supporters of Fcsb booed when Angola City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Jacaré didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marin Rogozea took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Diamantino De Matos. Angola City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Vasile Roşca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cláudio Rochedo in the 42nd minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Cláudio Rochedo notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Fcsb's Vasile Roşca. Vasile Roşca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Augustin Păltineanu made a kick off. Fcsb's Vasile Roşca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Fernandes Braga in the 58th minute of play. A hard shot by Vítor Chafes from long distance, 72 minutes into the match, got Vasile Roşca's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Angola City's Diamantino De Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Păltineanu in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th match minute, Angola City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Caetano to maneuver through the defense. Vasile Roşca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lopo Varanda in the 79th minute of play. The supporters of Fcsb booed when Angola City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lopo Varanda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86thth minute of the game Simão Fernandes Braga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fcsb's Vasile Roşca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Simão Fernandes Braga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Fcsb:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Angola City:s goal. Simão Fernandes Braga shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Lopo Varanda was shown his second yellow card after 98 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Angola City getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Lopo Varanda hit a great ball.
