Hélder Faria was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Bouabdellah Bendjedid capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tedj Saïfi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Amauri Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 122nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bouabdellah Bendjedid got free with Hélder Faria in the 126th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 152nd minute there was a penalty for Taneytown AF. Abdel Madjer stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hélder Faria. 7-8. The referee gave Taneytown AF a penalty, 155 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Daho Mimoun, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FLAMENGO's Hélder Faria. 8-9. The score was 11-10 after a penalty in the 163rd minute, where FLAMENGO:s Jeremias Paraibano tricked Taneytown AF:s Tedj Saïfi with a difficult ball by the left post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FLAMENGO fans cheered their team off the field, for while Taneytown AF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
