Chucho Benitez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diguinho Oliveira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karol Teofila in the 19th minute of play forced Hertha Berlin's goalkeeper Diguinho Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ÇAN SPOR's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alparslan Ruhsat in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iztal Marisancena in the 22nd minute of play forced ÇAN SPOR's goalkeeper Oğuzhan Er to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oğuzhan Er took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Ghinescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the game, Karol Teofila recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Diguinho Oliveira. Karol Teofila showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bennvar Galloway in the 31st minute of play forced ÇAN SPOR's goalkeeper Oğuzhan Er to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 minutes of play, ÇAN SPOR's Chucho Benitez made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diguinho Oliveira was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 37 played minutes ÇAN SPOR got a freekick which was hit by Halil Utku Kutlubay. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karol Teofila got free with Diguinho Oliveira in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Serhan Ahsen hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The supporters of Hertha Berlin booed when ÇAN SPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vaclovas Apeikis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oğuzhan Er showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iztal Marisancena, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chucho Benitez made a kick off. Serhan Ahsen kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. ÇAN SPOR's Oğuzhan Er proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save ÇAN SPOR from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bennvar Galloway got free with Oğuzhan Er in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Hertha Berlin defense, Karol Teofila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diguinho Oliveira. The Hertha Berlin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diguinho Oliveira should have stopped the shot. Oğuzhan Er took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bennvar Galloway, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute Karol Teofila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diguinho Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oğuzhan Er made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aron Ghinescu in the 89th minute. After a rather tough play, ÇAN SPOR's Fabio Montaldi got a free kick in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the match, ÇAN SPOR's goalkeeper Oğuzhan Er had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bennvar Galloway. When ÇAN SPOR's Karol Teofila in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hertha Berlin's goalie prevented a goal. Oğuzhan Er made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Iztal Marisancena sent off a good shot on target. Diguinho Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ye Yang in the 96th minute of play.

The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. ÇAN SPOR were victorious despite being under pressure from Hertha Berlin for much of the match.
