AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Dacian Nițescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michal Stehno went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Unidad de Matanza getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Maarten Aelbrecht hit a great ball. Dacian Nițescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Máximo Kirchner in the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the game, Unidad de Matanza's Máximo Kirchner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dacian Nițescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Venancio Cristofol made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Gorri Sañudo sent off a good shot on target. Dacian Nițescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Stehno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venancio Cristofol made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Lucky Darusman sent off a good shot on target. Don Cabezon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Venancio Cristofol made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Dacian Nițescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Stehno, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michal Stehno got free with Dacian Nițescu in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Michal Stehno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Dacian Nițescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
