The audience thought a goal was coming when Frazer Fordham got free with Adolfo Adrio in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 0 descensos's attentive Robustiano Lico managed to snatch the ball when André Fevang made a throw-in in the 10th minute of the game. 11 minutes into the match, 0 descensos's Bernabe Rojas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enrique Hanot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Frazer Fordham kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adolfo Adrio. That made the score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frazer Fordham in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adolfo Adrio saved 0 descensos from getting behind. Nantwich's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Örjan Berggren in the 21st minute. Nantwich's Örjan Berggren was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Adolfo Adrio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 24 minutes into the match, 0 descensos's goalkeeper Adolfo Adrio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frazer Fordham. The audience was convinced that Bernabe Rojas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enrique Hanot was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Nantwich's Örjan Berggren got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd minute Albert Jowsey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Adrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
