When Deportivo Alavés's Lesardo Alavedra in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Senator S.A.K's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Lesardo Alavedra sped through Senator S.A.K's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ziemowit Mis. The crowd rose to their feet as Lesardo Alavedra kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ziemowit Mis. That made the score 4-0 in the 22 minute of play. Vincent Solera was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 30th minute. Deportivo Alavés's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 30th minute Vincent Solera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ziemowit Mis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deportivo Alavés's Vincent Solera got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Senator S.A.K's goalkeeper Ziemowit Mis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Lesardo Alavedra reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ziemowit Mis. The goal made the score 5-0. If Vincent Solera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lesardo Alavedra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Arda Güler suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Xiao Mendez hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Senator S.A.K's Ziemowit Mis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lesardo Alavedra in the 59th minute of play. Sergi Gómez took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ziemowit Mis. Ziemowit Mis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Lesardo Alavedra took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ziemowit Mis. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lesardo Alavedra in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ziemowit Mis saved Senator S.A.K from getting behind. Ziemowit Mis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lesardo Alavedra went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. Deportivo Alavés's Alanzo Verdeja was substituted for Sergi Gómez. Lesardo Alavedra struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Ziemowit Mis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Alavés. Deportivo Alavés's Javi Moreno was substituted for Vincent Solera. Raşit Kuter charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raşit Kuter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raşit Kuter hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the match, Lesardo Alavedra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ziemowit Mis. Senator S.A.K's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lesardo Alavedra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. Ziemowit Mis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lesardo Alavedra went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 13-0 was the resulting score. After 96 played minutes Senator S.A.K got a freekick which was hit by Sancarbey Çinuçin. Deportivo Alavés walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
