Fc Schönhagen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Loris Groß was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Loris Groß in the 90th minute of play forced SSV Ulm 1846's goalkeeper Kryspin Cupial to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Loris Groß recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kryspin Cupial. Loris Groß showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Kryspin Cupial came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Fc Schönhagen's Loris Groß. But to his dismay, Loris Groß quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.
The Fc Schönhagen players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
