Hasan Ali Akatay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 9 minutes into the game, Dumitru Velicu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Hasan Ali Akatay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ☆TC☆ xapyh ☆TC☆'s attentive Karl-Magnus Sikström managed to snatch the ball when Ersin İlseven made a throw-in in the 17th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Dumitru Velicu put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Hasan Ali Akatay. 24 minutes into the game, Kuzey FK's Ahmet Nedim Peyami nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celal Ağca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dumitru Velicu in the 27th minute of play forced Kuzey FK's goalkeeper Hasan Ali Akatay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Dumitru Velicu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ☆TC☆ xapyh ☆TC☆ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. In the 38th minute Dumitru Velicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hasan Ali Akatay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ☆TC☆ xapyh ☆TC☆'s Celal Ağca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cihan Kabil in the 39th minute of play. Tacettin Özak kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute of the match Aydemir Sani shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hasan Ali Akatay showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute, Bengt Molander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th match minute, Kuzey FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cihan Kabil to maneuver through the defense. After the first half ☆TC☆ xapyh ☆TC☆ were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dumitru Velicu was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, ☆TC☆ xapyh ☆TC☆'s Dumitru Velicu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hasan Ali Akatay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kuzey FK's Hasan Ali Akatay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Kuzey FK from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kutalp Hatemoğlu in the 66th minute of play forced ☆TC☆ xapyh ☆TC☆'s goalkeeper Celal Ağca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dumitru Velicu in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hasan Ali Akatay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Celal Ağca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cihan Kabil in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, ☆TC☆ xapyh ☆TC☆'s Dumitru Velicu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. The supporters of ☆TC☆ xapyh ☆TC☆ booed when Kuzey FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tacettin Özak didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Dumitru Velicu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ☆TC☆ xapyh ☆TC☆ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. António Marinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celal Ağca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Nedim Peyami in the 92nd minute of play. ☆TC☆ xapyh ☆TC☆'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
