In the 5th minute Gerardo Claude shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Firme Aranguiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Generoso Freire successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Primo Urbina's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Generoso Freire skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Frutos Neyda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Generoso Freire made a huge save. Honorio Costante kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Las Pulguitas Rugby's goal looked a bit too open when Tome Suane came free, but Generoso Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Costante in the 26th minute of play forced Jirafas FC's goalkeeper Firme Aranguiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabio Elequemedo during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Las Pulguitas Rugby getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Fabio Elequemedo hit a great ball. Generoso Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frutos Neyda, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Frutos Neyda took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Generoso Freire to make any attempt to save it. Tome Suane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Generoso Freire tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Generoso Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tome Suane in the 40th minute of the match. With a little luck, Las Pulguitas Rugby's Generoso Freire got control of the ball when Primo Urbina tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Primo Urbina came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Jirafas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primo Urbina couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute, Tome Suane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Jirafas FC's zone, Cristo Berriotxoa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Firme Aranguiz came out of the goal and Cristo Berriotxoa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frutos Neyda to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Primo Urbina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jirafas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Primo Urbina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Las Pulguitas Rugby's attentive Fabio Elequemedo managed to snatch the ball when Ur Galisteo made a throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game. 64 minutes into the match, Las Pulguitas Rugby's goal looked a bit too open when Frutos Neyda came free, but Generoso Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Primo Urbina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Generoso Freire. Las Pulguitas Rugby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Primo Urbina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 70th minute of the match, Gerardo Claude tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Firme Aranguiz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Firme Aranguiz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristo Berriotxoa in the 71st minute. Cristo Berriotxoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, Las Pulguitas Rugby's goal looked a bit too open when Frutos Neyda came free, but Generoso Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Primo Urbina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Generoso Freire was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Las Pulguitas Rugby's Generoso Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primo Urbina in the 80th minute of play. Jirafas FC's Firme Aranguiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Claude in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frutos Neyda in the 84th minute of play forced Las Pulguitas Rugby's goalkeeper Generoso Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Generoso Freire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frutos Neyda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Generoso Freire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tome Suane in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Las Pulguitas Rugby players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Jirafas FC.
