Jirafas FC's Firme Aranguiz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Jirafas FC from getting a goal against them. Sixto Cugat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Firme Aranguiz having to interfere. After a rather tough play, EVERTON de CHILE's Gualterio Perpinya got a free kick in the 25th minute. Marcelo Montrel came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Jirafas FC's Caetano Beaga. But to his dismay, Caetano Beaga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Primo Urbina took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Montrel. Marcelo Montrel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Jirafas FC's Tome Suane got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Jirafas FC's Firme Aranguiz got control of the ball when Hector Gotzon tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 37 minutes, Caetano Beaga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jirafas FC and the EVERTON de CHILE players grew even worse after the yellow card. Caetano Beaga hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Marcelo Montrel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Bedri Tengizalp in the 41st minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anier Guifre made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Anier Guifre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jirafas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EVERTON de CHILE the free kick. Anier Guifre hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Jirafas FC's Tome Suane got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Cornelio Maule hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute of the match, Tome Suane tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcelo Montrel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 65 minutes into the match, EVERTON de CHILE's goalkeeper Marcelo Montrel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Primo Urbina. EVERTON de CHILE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualterio Perpinya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Tome Suane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the game, EVERTON de CHILE's Gualterio Perpinya nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Firme Aranguiz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Jirafas FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
