The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Astor Hitzeder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ercole Marcon's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albano Venerando got free with Ferdinando Di Persio in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Sid Eldridge came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Atletico Van Goof fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sid Eldridge couldn't finish the play. Rogelio Lucero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Ferdinando Di Persio made a huge save. In the 14th minute, Saul Gelacio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alexander Tomasso came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Atletico Van Goof fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexander Tomasso couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damiano Iachini in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Astor Hitzeder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristian Avellaneda hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, Albano Venerando notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Atletico Van Goof's Ferdinando Di Persio. Ferdinando Di Persio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 34th minute, Emanuele Guerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Albano Venerando left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jardón AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. A collision led to Jardón AFC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Cristian Avellaneda hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Atletico Van Goof's Filippo Festa got a free kick in the 47th minute. After 49 minutes, Albano Venerando made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Atletico Van Goof's Ferdinando Di Persio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Albano Venerando to make the kick off. Astor Hitzeder was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ercole Marcon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 56 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ercole Marcon in the 58th minute of play forced Jardón AFC's goalkeeper Astor Hitzeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albano Venerando took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferdinando Di Persio. Ferdinando Di Persio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Ferdinando Di Persio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albano Venerando in the 63rd minute of the match. The supporters of Atletico Van Goof booed when Jardón AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Munio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute of the match Felix Guernica shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Astor Hitzeder showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cristian Avellaneda's late challenge caught a Atletico Van Goof's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Avellaneda helped the player get up and apologised. After 69 played minutes Jardón AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Avellaneda. Sid Eldridge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Astor Hitzeder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Venerando in the 76th minute of play forced Atletico Van Goof's goalkeeper Ferdinando Di Persio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Albano Venerando had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ferdinando Di Persio. Atletico Van Goof's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albano Venerando was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. In the 88th match minute, Jardón AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Avellaneda to maneuver through the defense. Atletico Van Goof's Ferdinando Di Persio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Cebo in the 91st minute of play. Jardón AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
